Fortunately, all humans can hold someone else’s opinion in their mind whilst not necessarily agreeing with it; Aristotle thought that this astonishing ability is what makes us human. 

But we simply don’t do that most of the time because we are taught to memorize single answers to questions. And almost always those answers are someone else’s. That way we mistake facts for advice, not one ingredient to be mixed in with other information, which we dig up through questions to create a recipe for a life well lived. A Justified Opinion.
