That is because they have the Hybrid Skills necessary.
You as teacher or parent are a guide, not a sole provider of data, a curator not a guardian, or guardrails not a jockey, a coach not an umpire, you should think more like the person wielding the broom sweeping and smoothing the ice before them in a game of Curling.
